Rain Awareness

Horses have a tendency to not drink enough water when we are receiving rainy days. This can cause colic. For your horses health pay special attention to their water and how much they are consuming on rainy days. Make sure they have salt blocks available, use electrolyte supplements to increase water intake and be sure their water is cool, fresh and clean. I look at water like this…if it doesn’t look appealing to you it doesn’t look appealing to your horse.
